The last week passed as a week of celebration. Wednesday, September the 21st was the 4th Anniversary of Catch Themes. It seems like yesterday that I started and Catch Themes has turned 4 already.
I’ve had a great time working with my team in these past years. My team and I have grown so much professionally and personally and I am so happy of our accomplishments in these few years. It was our 4th Anniversary, how could I forgo celebration?
On Wednesday, we had an after office dinner and cake ceremony at my house in Bhainsepati. It was an amazing evening with food, fun and lots of card playing. My wife took the trophy by winning the final bet.
The next day, 22nd of September, I invited the managers of Acclaim Technology for an Anniversary treat. It has become a year of joining Acclaim Technology. We’ve had a very productive year and I absolutely admire and respect every one of these people for their co-operation and teamwork.
Celebration is a way of gratification of all the hard work. And the avid fun-lovers that we are, one quick after-office party just didn’t seem enough. So the following weekend, 24th of September, we went on a vacation to Green Valley Resort in Shivapuri National Park. A perfect place for a weekend getaway, so close to the city yet so close to nature. The resort had a relaxing atmosphere. We reached there mid-morning, had a hearty breakfast and played football. There was a light drizzle but it made playing all the more fun. The lunch was very delicious and we couldn’t stop ourselves from taking second helpings. In the evening, we gathered around a campfire in the garden joking with one another. The food and drinks flowed freely and card playing followed post dinner.
The next day we hiked up to Bishnudwar – the source of Bishnumati River. Our only regret is that the weather wasn’t favorable enough and our plan to fly kites had to be nixed. Nevertheless, we had an amazing time together. It was a way to unwind from regular work, a way to relax and recreate with the team together.
This past week has provided me with a renewed energy to get more things done and take the amazing team I have forward. I am thankful to all my well-wishers who have recognized my work allowed Catch Themes to have a 4th Anniversary. I couldn’t have done it without all the support you give me. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of Catch Themes.
Cheers to yet another year.
